Getting started
Do I need a credit card to start the free trial?
▾
No. The 14-day free trial is completely free with no credit card required. You sign up, connect your POS, and start getting your morning briefs immediately. You only enter payment details if you decide to subscribe after the trial ends.
How long does setup take?
▾
About 5 minutes for the basics. You create an account, connect your POS through a secure OAuth flow (same as signing in with Google — no IT help needed), and you are done. Snoop starts pulling your data that night and your first brief arrives the next morning. Adding recipes takes longer if you have a big menu — but you can upload a PDF of your recipe book and Snoop reads it automatically in under a minute.
What POS systems does SnoopAI connect to?
▾
SnoopAI currently supports Toast, Square, Clover, and Lightspeed — covering the majority of independent bars and restaurants in the US. If you use a different system, email us at help@snoopai.app and we will let you know when your system is supported or set you up manually.
What if I just signed up and do not have a delivery coming for a week?
▾
Just enter your current stock when you sign up — even a rough count. Snoop uses that as your starting baseline and deducts from it every night based on your sales. By the time your next delivery arrives, Snoop will tell you exactly what you should have left and flag any discrepancy when the new stock comes in.
Example: You start with 18 lbs of ground beef. Snoop tracks every burger sold. On delivery day Snoop says "You should have 4 lbs left. New delivery of 100 lbs brings your total to 104 lbs." Then your physical count confirms — or flags a variance.
How it works
How does the variance math actually work?
▾
Snoop uses your drink and food recipes to calculate exactly how much of each ingredient should have been used based on what you sold. Snoop then compares that against your physical inventory count, with a 10% spillage buffer built in for normal waste. If what you actually have is less than what Snoop expects — that gap, in dollars, is your variance.
Example: You sold 142 vodka drinks. At 1.5oz each that is 213oz used. Add 10% spillage = 234oz. You started with 5 bottles (1,185oz). You should have 951oz left — about 2.4 bottles. Physical count shows 1 bottle. That is $52 unaccounted for. That is what Snoop puts in your morning brief.
Does the owner still need to do a physical inventory count?
▾
Yes — and you always should. Physical verification is how you catch everything. But here is the difference: before SnoopAI, you counted from zero every time — 4 to 6 hours. With Snoop, you walk in with his expected numbers already on your phone and just confirm or correct each item. Same walk. Same cooler. Same bottles. About 15 to 20 minutes instead of 4 to 6 hours.
What if the variance is because we fed the staff or had a special event?
▾
Snoop will flag it and ask. You can log a staff meal, a private event, or a waste incident directly in the app and Snoop adjusts the math. If you explain it this week, Snoop remembers going forward. If you ignore it and the same pattern repeats three weeks in a row, Snoop escalates — because at that point it is no longer a one-time explanation.
How do I add my recipes if I have a big menu?
▾
Upload a PDF, photo, or Excel file of your recipe book. Snoop reads it using AI and extracts every recipe automatically — item name, ingredients, amounts, and units. You review the results, confirm, and Snoop starts tracking from that night. For menus without a recipe document, you can add items manually one by one. You can also skip recipes and start tracking inventory by delivery vs physical count only — then add recipes whenever you have time.
Does Snoop track food ingredients too or just liquor?
▾
Both. Snoop tracks anything that has a recipe and a physical count — liquor, proteins like beef and chicken, dairy, produce, dry goods, and more. Liquor gets the closest attention because theft risk is highest, but the same variance math applies to a pound of ground beef as it does to a bottle of Tito's. You choose which categories to track closely during setup.
What is the 30-day prediction timer I see on the dashboard?
▾
After 30 days of data, Anthology SentIQ™ activates predictive forecasting — powered by advanced intelligence models trained on over 100 billion real-world data points. Once active, Snoop starts predicting your revenue for the next 7 days, your inventory needs before you run out, and your staffing requirements before the shift happens. The timer counts down from your first day of connected POS data so every day of your trial counts toward it.
Pricing and billing
What is the difference between the plans?
▾
Every plan includes every feature. The only difference is how many locations you can monitor. Starter ($149/month) covers 1 location. Growth ($249/month) covers up to 3. Empire ($399/month) covers up to 10. You are not paying more for fewer features — you are paying for more locations.
Can I cancel anytime?
▾
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees, no awkward phone calls. Cancel from your dashboard settings in one tap. Or email help@snoopai.app and we handle it same day. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period and then stops. Your data is held for 30 days then permanently deleted.
Is there an annual discount?
▾
Yes — after 6 months on a monthly plan you will be offered an annual option: pay for 10 months and get 12. That works out to 2 free months per year. On Starter that saves you $298 annually. We offer it at 6 months rather than upfront because we want you to have seen real results before making a longer commitment.
How does the pilot program work?
▾
For local Lancaster-area businesses we occasionally offer a 30-day pilot partnership. You get Snoop free for 30 days. In exchange we ask for honest feedback — what works, what does not, what you wish existed. If Snoop does not find you at least $149 in losses or time savings in the first 30 days, you pay nothing. Email us at help@snoopai.app to ask about availability.
Security and privacy
Who can see my sales and inventory data?
▾
Only you. Every owner's data is completely isolated at the database level using Row Level Security. Nobody at Sara Technologies LLC can pull up your numbers without your explicit permission for a support call. Think of it like your bank — even employees cannot access your account unless you authorize it.
Do you sell my data?
▾
No. Not now, not ever. We make money one way — your subscription fee. We do not sell your data to suppliers, competitors, advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. Your revenue numbers, your inventory patterns, your staff data — that belongs to you. The moment we started selling it, we would stop being useful to you.
Can Snoop change anything in my POS?
▾
Absolutely not. Snoop connects to your POS with a read-only token. Snoop can see your sales data but cannot void an order, issue a refund, change a price, or modify your menu. It is the same principle as giving someone permission to read your filing cabinet but not take anything out or put anything in. Zero write access. Ever.
What if SnoopAI gets hacked?
▾
All data is encrypted with AES-256 — the same standard your bank uses. Even if someone broke in, they would see encrypted data that is useless without the decryption keys. We also use Row Level Security so each owner's data is completely isolated. We do not store your POS password — only read-only OAuth tokens. And we do not store any banking or payment information. There is genuinely very little of value to steal.
Is my staff data private?
▾
Yes. Snoop flags shift-level patterns — voids, comps, timing anomalies — but never builds personal profiles on your employees. We do not store staff names, personal contact information, or any data that would identify individuals outside of what your POS already has. Snoop points at the shift time and the dollar pattern. What you do with that information is your business.
Can my manager or staff access SnoopAI?
▾
Only if you share your login. The account belongs to the owner and all data goes directly to you. A manager access tier — with read-only view of specific dashboard sections — is on our roadmap. When it launches, sharing access will be entirely your choice and under your control. Nothing is shared by default.
Snoop the AI
What languages does Snoop speak?
▾
English and Spanish are fully supported right now — including Snoop's text responses and the ElevenLabs voice (Josh or Bella in English, Mateo or Sofia in Spanish). You set your language preference during onboarding and can change it any time in settings. French and Portuguese are coming soon.
What is the Listen button and how does it work?
▾
Every response Snoop gives you has a Listen button. Tap it and Snoop reads his response out loud using ElevenLabs — a professional voice AI that sounds like a real person, not a robotic text-to-speech. This is designed for owners who are driving to work and want to hear their morning brief without looking at their phone. You pick male or female voice in settings.
What kinds of questions can I ask Snoop?
▾
Anything about your business. Snoop already has your POS data, inventory levels, alerts, and history loaded when you ask.
"Why was last Tuesday slow?"
"Which shift is costing me the most in voids?"
"What should I reorder before the weekend?"
"How does this week compare to last month?"
"When will my chicken breast run out at this pace?"
"Was I overstaffed on Saturday night?"

Does Snoop accuse my staff of stealing?
▾
Never. Snoop only reports data — the shift window, the dollar amount, the pattern. He does not name names and Snoop does not make accusations. Snoop reports "3 voids between 9 and 11 PM totaling $47" — not "your bartender is stealing." What you do with that information is your call. Snoop's job is to make sure you have the information in the first place.
I already have software that tracks my inventory. Why do I need Snoop?
▾
Most inventory software records what you tell it. Snoop figures out what you didn't tell it — the missing bottle, the heavy pour, the void that happened after the food was already made.
Your current software needs someone to count bottles every week and enter the numbers manually. Snoop runs that math every night automatically using your actual sales data and your recipes — no counting, no clipboards, no hours on your day off.
The difference is this: your current software is a record. Snoop is a watchdog. One tells you what happened. The other tells you what's missing from what happened — in dollars — before you walk in the door.

Yes — and here is some important context. DoorDash, 7shifts, QuickBooks, and OpenTable are probably already connected to your POS right now. Every one of them uses your data to grow their profits. Snoop works the same way — read-only OAuth token, the same secure standard every major platform uses. The difference is those apps use your data to make their business more profitable. Snoop uses it to make yours more profitable. Same connection. Completely different purpose.
I already pay for too many subscriptions. Why add another?
▾
That is a fair question and here is the honest answer. Every other subscription on your list is a cost center. Toast processes your payments. QuickBooks tracks your taxes. 7shifts schedules your staff. None of them find you money. Snoop is designed to find more money than Snoop costs every single month. Most owners recover more than $149 in losses in their first week. After that it is not a subscription — it is the tool that covers your other ones. And if Snoop does not find you at least $149 in savings in your first 30 days you do not pay. That is the guarantee.
